Hartig Drug is corporately located in Dubuque, IA where the first store was started by AJ Hartig more than 100 years ago.  Throughout our 100-plus year history, Hartig Drug has played a key role in progressive retail practices including; opening the first self-service drug store in Iowa, being one of the first pharmacies to have a woman pharmacist and also being one of the first stores to hire women managers.  AJ Hartig always believed in offering the best product selection and service to his customers and throughout the years this mentality has carried on throughout Hartig Drug.  Today our shelves are stocked with everything from over-the-counter drugs, beauty products, food and beverage products, sports care products, photo accessories, gifts, home decor and much more.
